CHILDREN’S SKI LEVELS
The Snow School uses the Snowlife Award System for our children’s groups.

What can I do: Children who have never skied before or have not yet mastered a snowplough.
What we’ll learn: We will help you become familiar with all the ski equipment. As soon as we have you snowplough turning we can then explore all the nursery slopes and green runs. Concentrating on speed control by using different size turns making you a safer skier. You will be able to use a button lift.
What I can do? Children who can hold a strong slowplough with their skis becoming parallel at the end of each turn.
What we’ll learn: Be able to ski with a strong & controlled snowplough. Focusing on parallel skiing and becoming more comfortable with going faster on easier slopes in resort.
What I can do? Children who can confidently ski with their skis parallel however you may see a small wedge on harder terrain.
What we’ll learn? We will go through different exercises and games that are aimed to help your skis become consistently parallel on all terrain. An entry level introduction to pole plant turns.
What I can do? For children who can ski parallel consistently on harder terrain.
What we’ll learn? We will put your parallel turns to the test by improving long and short turns and introducing steep runs and bumps.
What I can do? Children who are ready to discover the thrills of bumps, steeps and a bit of off piste.
What we’ll learn? You will ski varied terrain and be able to ski most runs in resort. We will teach you to change speed and direction with ease whilst tackling bumps, jumps, powder, steep runs & much more.
Picking the right level for your child is very important allowing your child to enjoy and develop there skills throughout the week.The Snow School team have detailed each level with great care in order to help parents choose the correct level.
All of our lessons are taught in English, small groups and with helpers for the younger ones where possible.
