Skiing in La Tania offers a charming, more relaxed alternative to its neighbouring Courchevel resorts, while still providing access to the expansive Three Valleys. Nestled at 1,400 m, it’s ideal for families and intermediate skiers, with blue and green runs leading directly into the village.
Its wooded surroundings make for scenic tree-lined skiing, especially along the popular Folyères run. Our fully qualified ski instructors love the resort of La Tania and can sometimes be seen skiing and snowboarding among the trees, as there are lots of little trails and new places to explore.
La Tania also serves as a great starting point for exploring the vast Les 3 Vallées ski area, with quick connections to Courchevel and Méribel via modern lifts. Despite its quieter atmosphere, advanced skiers can also enjoy more challenging red and black runs nearby, as well as off-piste opportunities.
La Tania also has a very quaint, family-friendly feel, making it a relaxed and welcoming base for a ski holiday.

Frequently Asked Questions
Private lessons are catered for all ages and abilities. If you like 1-2-1 instruction, or your party is 1–3 people who need lessons, this can be the most cost-effective way of learning.
We do not have a minimum age for private lessons, but we’d advise around 3–4 years old is a great age to start.
They are completely bespoke to you and your party and fast-track your learning. We can pick up and drop off at your desired location. Lessons are for up to 3 people at no extra cost.
Please visit our levels pages. With private lessons the instructor will check your level on the first day.
Ski passes are not included — they need to be purchased separately.
It depends on the weather, but layers you can easily remove are a good idea. We advise goggles with the option for sunglasses, and helmets are very important — we advise everyone to wear one.
