Our Ski School in La Tania Offers Private and Group Lessons
Skiing in La Tania offers a charming and more relaxed alternative to its neighbouring ski resorts in the Courchevel area, while still providing access to the expansive Three Valleys ski domain.
Nestled at an altitude of 1,400 meters, La Tania is ideal for families and intermediate skiers, with a selection of blue and green runs that lead directly into the village. Its wooded surroundings make for scenic tree-lined skiing, especially along the popular Folyères run. Our fully qualified ski instructors love the resort of La Tania and can sometimes be seen skiing and snowboarding in between the trees, as there are lots of little trails and new places to explore.
La Tania also serves as a great starting point for exploring the vast ski area, with quick connections to Courchevel and Méribel via modern lifts. And despite its quieter atmosphere, advanced skiers can enjoy more challenging red and black runs nearby, as well as off-piste opportunities.
With families in mind, La Tania has a very quaint feel to it.

Scenic Tree-Lined Skiing: The ski runs around La Tania are known for their beautiful tree-lined routes, providing good visibility during bad weather and a picturesque alpine atmosphere.
Run Difficulty:
- La Tania’s local slopes include a good mix for beginners and intermediates, with:
- 2 green runs (beginner-friendly),
- 2 blue runs (intermediate),
- 2 red runs (advanced).
- The Folyères blue run is one of the most popular, providing a tree-lined descent all the way into the village.
La Tania is especially well-suited for beginner and intermediate skiers, with easy access to wide, gentle pistes. Green and blue runs are conveniently located near the village.
Advanced skiers can quickly link to Courchevel and Méribel via the gondola and chairlifts from La Tania. From here, more advanced terrain and black runs become accessible, including off-piste routes accessible from Courchevel or the nearby Dou des Lanches black run.
